Upcoming concert information

        There are a couple of folk performers coming to the Seattle area (which I know doesn't apply to all of the members of the list, and for this, I apologize) that might be of interest to people.

        Cheryl Wheeler will be appearing at Kane Hall on Sunday, February 4th at Kane Hall, Room 220 at 7:30 pm. If you've heard me do "TV," "Makes Good Sense to Me," or "Quarter Moon" at filks, she wrote those. She's a wonderful songwriter (and not to mention one of the funniest people I've ever had the pleasure to see). Tickets are $11.00 and can be ordered by calling 206-528-8523.

        Christine Lavin will be appearing at the Everett Community Theatre on Wednesday, February 28th. I don't have time or ticket price yet. Christine used to be a big staple of my repetoire, and I still do some of her stuff every now and then. If you've heard me do "Great Big Bug," "Shopping Cart of Love: The Play," "Amoeba Hop," or "Doris & Edwin: The Movie," she wrote those. She's another very funny woman who must be seen live to be believed.

        I'll update the Lavin information as soon as I have price & time. I hope to see some of you at these concerts. Maybe we can carpool! :)
