Or, as a one of my singing partners put it "If the Fish can sing it, anyone
can!" It's just my own sensitivities and shyness here, I'll get over it
eventually. It took 3 years before I'd sing in the SCA, and I'd been doing
musical theater for years, but then, it wasn't really me. I'm just way to
sensitive... :)

I don't reall know what it was myself. All I was told was that songs of hers
were sung at a Con that she was at, and she didn't like that and there were
lawsuits involved and it carried onto the internet. I really didn't feel
comfortable asking much about it because it obviously upset some people on
alt.music.filk. Calling it the Great Conflict was just my own name for it.
