I think the most egrerious "stepping on" on someone else's song
when I was in the chaos room Saturday night was committed by
yours truly. But I really like my words to "White collar Holler"
better, especially since they fit my so-called life.
replyreplyI'm excited about the idea of an all-filking con. But, I'd miss
the dancing.

I get up ever' mornin' at quarter to six,
Got lunches to pack, breakfast to fix.
Get my kids off to school,
Can't remember my name,
And week after week it's always the same.
(Chorus)
It's oh girl, can't you code it.
Umh! Program it right!
Nothing ever happens in this life of mine,
Hauling up the data on the Unix line.
It's code in the data, give the keyboard a punch.
Compile, file, delete, then break for some lunch.
Correlate, tabulate, process, and screen.
Debug, recode, regress to the mean
(Chorus)
It's home again, cook again, do some laundry.
Fall into my bed at Eleven Fiftythree.
I dream the same dream when I'm sleeping at night...
I'm soaring over hills like an eagle in flight
(Chorus)
Someday I'm going to throw out all these keyboards and screens.
Going to punch out that 'larm clock so it can't ring
Tear off my pantyhose and set myself free
'Cuz no one's going to fold, bend or mutilate me!
(Chorus x2)
