replyIn Everett, called Dreamcon. It had great filking. It's hotel, the Quality Inn/Holiday Inn (it kept flipping) off the 128th st. exit of I5 in south Everett, had a bar that made a great performance space.

The con died.

The hotel is up for grabs, and there are no major cons in WA now between May and Jan barring the stray Westercon on occasion
(Not to downplau Vikingcon or Dragonflight, but one's tiny and the others
all gaming.)

Maybe we should round up folks for a summer filkcon there?

Since Dream died, the filking up here at cons hasn't been as lively, it seems to me...

(Quarong- you're our concom-like person - what do you think of the notion??)
