replyreplyUmph. I *live* in the Bay Area, and I wouldn't propose a filk con down here.

Quite frankly, I'd be absolutely thrilled to see Dreamcon replaced with an all-filk con; it would give me another excuse to get up to Seattle around that time of year, and keep me from missing Dreamcon too terribly.

replyI wouldn't put it in Portland or Vancouver for the simple reason that it's too near, chronologically, to OryCon--we don't *need* cons every two weeks in one city, even if we'd *like* it...

So here's my vote for replacing Dreamcon, in Everett, with an all-filk con.

replyName suggestions, anyone? Personally, I vote for ConCert...

Wouldn't hurt, but it also wouldn't be a Dreamcon replacement. *shrug*.

Maybe it's just me.
