Ah. BayCon isn't a bad con, but many years it conflicts with NorWesCon (or was it Westercon? Whichever one *isn't* 4th of July weekend), so I don't end up going.

If you're ever in the mood to attend, but want to do so low-budget, I've got a hideabed sofa in my living room that you're more than welcome to stay on for the duration of the con.

Ah, sorry, we have an information-deficit error here. Dreamcon was traditionally on Halloween weekend, or the weekend before--which puts it *right* near OryCon. Since we were talking about replacing DreamCon with a filking con...
