Um, I've never been to a bona fide con, much less been a member of a concom, but if you'll have me I'll throw my hat in the ring.
BTW, while I'm out of lurker mode, can anybody identify a filk song for me? The refrain goes "Pile high, pile high, the Devil's underground..." it deals with the survivors of a nuclear war trying to make sure the folks in an underground bunker never get out again, and it's driving me crazy.
