        Maybe my post didn't get through (though it came back to me from the filk list, so I guess it must have).

        I suggested having the music equivalent of an art show, but having filkers/performers send "con tapes", possibly with only one or a few songs on them, to the con. We could then have a "music-art show room" where we had a bunch of tape players with headphones, one per artist, or preferably one per tape, so that people could listen to a piece, wander on, listen to another piece by another performer, and so on.
