In the spirit of the season, I present my latest bit of sillyness:

The Ballad of Commander Claus
Words and music by Jeffrey Hitchin

When man colonized the planets and systems farther out, they took their families and children, and things they couldn't do without.

All of this makes my job harder, but you won't hear me complain I just moved my shop up to the moon and kept on making trains.

CHORUS
For it's that special time that comes but once a year, time to hook that FTL drive to my eight reindeer. Dodging asteroids to my left and comets to my right, bringing gifts to the galaxy in under one night.

The first leg took me to a planet near the outer rim, where the fires of war made the air so very thin. There was a gift for Londo, who then asked me for more. I then figured out who that case of Dep was for.

CHORUS The Alpha Quadrant was the next stop on my trip bringing stuffed selahts to a Vulcan science ship. I tried to explain the decorations were magical. The told me Starfleet ornaments just weren't logical.

[Go figure]

CHORUS People ask me, just how do I get through it? I say, "It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it!" But I'll give you my secret if you won't tell anyone, that I just tear a hole in the space-time continuum!

So this could be the best holiday you've ever had, just keep in mind my sensors know if you've been good or bad. And if you've been bad, then I'll know the things you've done, and instead of coal you'll get a phaser set on stun!
