You're right, Jeff. This is borderline tasteless, but cute & funny anyway.

One quibble, I don't remember Beethoven writing much organ music, or any fugues. The romantics thought fugues overly mathematical and stilted. Bach wrote lots of fugues, and lots of organ pieces

I'm a Goth!
replylyrics by Jeffrey Hitchin
music by Jeffrey Hitchin, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Andrew Lloyd Webber

[Intro: The melody line from "Organ Fugure in G Minor" by Beethoven,
followed by drum intro. Pipe organ sound is used.]

There you see me, lurking in the lobby, of the con hotel. Don't get nervous, don't make comments, about the way I smell. I'm dressed in black leather, there's a pasty white complexion to my skin. Now the only problem is scrapin' up the forty bucks to get in,

'Cuz I'm a GOTH, baby I'm a GOTH!
It takes me several hours just to get this makeup off! I'm a GOTH, baby I'm a GOTH!
Don't fight it I know you want to be like MEEEEEE!

[Bridge: The chromatic slide from the "Phantom of the Opera" overture by
Andrew Lloyd Webber. Continue this until the audience is ready to start throwing fruit.]

'Cuz I'm a GOTH, baby I'm a GOTH!
Don't put down the Camarilla now, you just might PISS ME OFF! I'm a GOTH, baby I'm a GOTH!
Don't fight it I know you want to be like MEEEEEE!

[Start the chromatic slide underneath the held note until the point where
you can't hold it anymore, then dissolve into a fit of hacking and coughing.]

[spoken in a raspy voice:] I knew this would happen if they made us smoke
outside!

Jeff Hitchin
