I just got my Feb issue of the Celtic Calendar, and it lists
something I thought many of you might be interested in, despite
the very short notice:
"Feb 7-9. RainyCamp 1997 is a Folk-Singing Weekend sponsored
by the Seattle Song Circle of the Seattle Folklore Society
held at Camp Don Bosco in Carnation, WA; call 747-7655."
For you California residents:
"Annual West Coast Irish Piper's Club Tionol [read classes
and concerts] is held in San Francisco this year. (Next
year it will be in Seattle.) . . . . For more information
about the Tionol call Conall O'Raghallaigh (415) 647-1833
or Todd Denman (415) 668-5325. The Tionol is for all
Irish musicians, not just uilleann pipers. Tionol is also
on the Internet <http://www.dnai.com/~suki/tionol/>."
[I have bit more of schedule for the Tionol here, which I
can email upon request; but calling the folks above would
probably be more informative.]
More later,
