    Filk the SF Community's folk - you can rip off someone else's tune, or you can write your own. It's about content. The content of filk varies from an off-key, half-drunk rendition of "BFA", to snide commentary of preferred fan texts and celebraties (B7, B5, DS9, Lackey books, Asimnov etc.), or to issues in the "real world" fans are connected with (computers).
