Anybody know anything about getting into Canada nowdays? The last time I went across the border was 'bout 5 years ago, and I just drove through from West Glacier to Waterton. The border guards just waved at us both directions. Now I hear you have to have birth certificates or passports! A passport to get into Canada? Sheesh.

Anyway, the reason I'm asking is that I'm going to be doing Rutter's "Magnificat" with the Vancouver Symphony on the 21st. It's kind of a bussman's holiday, driving 600 miles to do a bunch of quick rehearsals and sing in a massed choir. I think I may be nuts. Anyway, I get a real good seat for the performance. :)

Anybody who's run the border lately, let me know if I need to scramble up some vital statistics, or can just drive up to Vancouver like I used to.
