Apparently majordomo (the mailing list software I use) doesn't handle closed
lists easily. Until I find either a newer version of MajorDomo (or hack
it into the current software) there doesn't seem to be a way to stop
the spammers from mailing to the list. Please don't suggest other mailing
list softwares to me. I looked at them all when I started and majordomo was
by far the best of the lot, and I've tried to keep reasonably up to date with
the versions of majordomo and the other software out there.
