I'm back!!! And boy is there some good music coming up
in the next few weeks! For those of you not in the Seattle
area, I've also provided what email addresses I have for
the various groups so you can contact them to find out when
they'll be in your neighborhood; but since most of you are
	from around here . . . .

PAPERBOYS! = They're new CD comes out this week and they're
having 2 release parties at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard.
	(206) 789-4250. They're now also have a single album being
played on the radio in the US and Canada and a video for it
in Canada. If you like Celtic Rock with touches of folk,
	bluegrass, and Generation X contemplation; if you like Tempest;
you'll like these guys. Please come support they're growing
	success!
		Thurs Sept 18th = Sugarbeet opens at 8:30, $7.
Fri Sept 19th = Red Shoes for Nancy opens at 9:30, $7.

SCHOONER'S CREW with DAVID LOVINE = Sea shantys on the Wawona
at the south end of Lake Union. Sat Sept 20th.

ALASDAIR FRASER & SKYEDANCE = Outstanding fiddle music, plus
flute, keyboard, and the piper from "Braveheart". Thurs Sept 25th,
7:30pm at the King Cat Theater (2130 6th Avenue & Blanchard in
downtown). $14.50. If you like mainstream Celtic by some folks
with the spirit of those lands, these guys are worth it.

Old Blind Dogs = Wed Oct 1st 8pm, Tractor Tavern. $10 adv, $12 door.
	This is a progressive/traditional Scottish Group. They're write-up
is very good and they have 5 cd's out. It's my new pick for the
	month.

ROYAL SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCE SOCIETY CEILIDH = Fri Oct 3rd, 7:30
to 10pm, free, at the Congretional Church of Mercer Island. No
dancing experience or partners required; it's a lot of fun. Call
Rosalie at (206) 745-2046 for more info.

WICKED CELTS = Sat Oct 4th 8-10pm, $7. On board the Wawona at
the south end of Lake Union. They were on hiatus over the summer
when Marissa had her baby, but they're sounding great and this
	ship is a wonderful setting.

HEATHER ALEXANDER = Sat Oct 4th at the Roadrunner Cafe in Wallingford.
(Two great gigs on one night, take your pick between ensemble dance
music and ballads; and a wonderful Celtic style storyteller and
singer.) By this date Heather will be a Washington resident, and I
strongly encourage you to come try her music.

TANNAHILL WEAVERS = Yahoo! Phenomenal Celtic musicians from Scotland,
what these men can do with their instruments is amazing; and they're
back for their annual concert, this time at the Tractor Tavern. Wed
and Thur Oct 15 & 16. Tickets are available now.

WICKED CELTS = They'll be playing again on Oct 31st for their cd
