I basically have two things to say.

Like Quarong (I hope that's the right spelling) I grew up on John Denver songs and i will miss him. Thanks for a good story.

replyYour Celtic directory did leave out the fact that Madison's Cafe and Music House has an "open stage" (you used a fancy word for it which I can't spell) anyway, an open stage on Sunday nights, which Jeff and I are doing our very best to filkify. The host knows what filk is and likes it.

PS--Being originally from Colorado, I sang many John Denver songs as sort of an "ambassador" from the state during my stay in Ecuador. The Ecuadorians knew who John Denver was and were terribly impressed that I was from Colorado because of Denver's songs. Received on 10/14/97
