Impressive footwork

I was watching the world championship ice skating competition the other night, and saw something pretty impressive: Canadian ice dancer Kraatz and his partner are apparently known for nice interaction, but shaky footwork; so they started working with a New York choreographer to correct this. This choreographer's prior project had been the American verison of "Riverdance", and he proceeded to teach this couple how to do it on ice skates! Now while ice dancing is not as physically exhausting as the solo routinues, it's still not exactly a walk in the park; and to do the entire thing to Irish music is a definite feat. And then I watched them do actual hard shoe rallies = step-stamp-tap-tap-hop-back times about 4! They threw in some assorted other step-dance moves in between the skating footwork, you can't criticize them for footwork any longer! Watch for them in the Olympics!
