The world is coming to an end...

The gods help us all, _McDonald's_ is doing filk! On my way back from the east coast, I glanced over United's audio selections. One of the choices is Intergalactical Magic Radio, sponsored by Mickey D's. Among the selections are:

• "Oh dear, what can the password be?" ttto "oh dear, what can the matter be?"
• "We'll be listening for the signal" ttto "She'll be comin' round the mountain"
• "My tuba has the hiccups" ttto "Turkey in the straw" (whatever that is)
• "Sing a silly song" ttto "Sing a song of sixpence"
• "Save the Aliens" ttto "Do your ears hang low" (I really don't want to contemplate this one...)
• "Doin' silly dancin'" ttto "Big rock candy mountain"
• "Baby Scat" ttto "Vive la Compagnie"
• "Ronald McDonald had a farm" ttto the obvious choice.

It's only available on the 777s for now; I'm a little grateful, because I might have been tempted to find "Save the Aliens"... :P Received on 04/28/98
