House Filk Dates

replyOkay - we had such a good time getting a filk fix at our house, we're willing to do it again. After much discussion between ourselves, we've decided that we can't handle every month but we can handle every other month. That means we've picked the odd-numbered months. We took a look at the upcoming 6 months and decided on a schedule which is shown below.

All filks are on Saturdays, starting at 2pm and going until whenever. Although we had a request for Sunday afternoons, as the hosts have to be at work on Monday and we spent a couple of hours cleaning up this time - NO WAY. The house has cats, parrots, fish and an 11-year old. We're out in the wilds of Maltby (Snohomish County - near Woodinville). RSVPs will get directions if they need them. We would like to know how many people will attend each time so we can plan accordingly. We will send out reminders at 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 week intervals so people don't forget.

**DATES:**
September 12th (two weeks before our wedding - so be nice) November - no filk scheduled due to Orycon and family commitments. January 16th (RustyCon Alterna-Filk) - this is on our calendars but pending enough interest to make it worthwhile. Didn't see a thing about filk on the RustyCon web site.

We'll see how September goes and then plan more as we get closer to 1999.

Comments anyone? Questions?
