CopperCon Attendance

I've been playing with the idea of going down to this Event in Phoenix over Labor Day Weekend, not only to see our local Jeff Hitchin in his debut as Music GOH; but because it's a great chance to see a general SF con in another state and to spend the weekend with an outstanding group of filkers from the SW US. (Frequent, although not guaranteed, attendees have been known to include the Duras Sisters, Leslie Fish, Joe Bethancourt, Lynn Gold, Jordin Kare, Larry Warner, and more.)

However, there's still the question whether I can justify airfare and hotel room, on top of the actual con costs.

So I thought I'd check and see if anyone else from the Seattle to Portland area was thinking of going. Thoughts?
