Tickets for the shows below will be available about a month in advance at the Tractor itself; as well as at Dusty Strings in Fremont, Galway Traders in Ballard, and through Ticketmaster (if you like outrageous fees).

Tues 9/22 8pm = CAPERCAILLIE "Earthy Celtic funk echoing ancient yet vibrant Gaelic dynamics. In Karen Matheson they have the voice of an angel who can stir the emotion of any devil." Tickets are $16.50 adv, $18.50 door; and they will sell out fast. The dance floor will be left open, rather than filled with chairs like at most of the Tractor's other shows.

Thur 10/1 8pm = Double-bill show. $8 adv, $10 door. LAURENCE NUGENT "Extra-ordinarily gifted flute & whistle player from Fermanagh via Chicago.  His latest album, "Two for Two", is in the Top 10 trad charts in Ireland. He will be joined by guitarist Peter Gilmore. SUSAN MCKEOWN "Strikingly orginal contemporary singer working in the Celtic vein, her latest album, "Brushes & Briars", topped Crossroad magazine's World music chart."

Sun 10/25 = MARY JANE LAMOND

Fri & Sat 11/6 & 7 = THE PAPERBOYS. Our favorite Celtic rock band from Vancouver BC. Always a packed show at the Tractor.

Sun 11/15 = ANDY M STEWART. Singer / songwriter from Silly Wizard. Among other things he wrote "The Queen of Argyll".

Sun 12/6 = DERVISH. High energy young group from Ireland.

Tues 1/12 = ALTAN at the Showbox in downtown Seattle. Big name band from Scotland, mostly traditional songs and instrumental pieces, but with more modern energy.
