Filk room preference - depends on what the objectives are. I think we're probably more likely to get "drop in" folks introduced to filk if they hear something interesting happening in the vicinity of hospitality (not to mention that we'll likely stand a batter chance of hearing ourselves there rather than just above the dance)... So that would get my vote.
