ok, i've had enough of a consensus to say that it will be saturday .... and a polite reminder that i forgot to mention my cats. i'll be cleaning that morning and locking the cats away from the main floor during the event to keep the allergens down, and will be stocking benedryl as well (i have dust/pollen allergies).

i do have a 4 year old, who has lots of toys and 3 beds in his room, so parents don't necessarily need to get a babysitter-or we can all chip in and i'll talk to the teen next door. my house is a 2-story so there would be adequate room upstairs away from the adults that they could play, watch tv and the like until bedtime. (also why i have lots of crash space)

i was thinking of making spaghetti with a variety of different sauces to accomodate the different allergies or food preferences: a meat lovers, one without meat, and any others that people might suggest (i have a friend who is allergic to onions for example). i'd make frybread, but that tastes better fresh, and the hot oil wouldn't be good for any guitar strings. so if people desired to maybe bring breads, cheeses and sodas---we have an espresso machine (bring extra flavorings if desired--tracy loves to play with it) and i'll have lots of juice mixed up.
