I don't think any of the "Metro" (King County) busses run to or past Maltby.. (check to see if any go to Monroe via 522)

 Might be possible to get a Community Transit (Snohomish County) bus that stops near or 'in' Maltby, I've never checked.

  I'll have to scan the area for bus stop signs, something I've never really paid attention to up to this point.

  FYI: Maltby is basically where SR524 intersects SR522

 If you can't find a ride, and a bus nearer to our place than Woodinville, I strongly suspect we could persuade someone (myself if all else fails) to pick you up at the transit center in Woodinville.
