a few e-mail houskeeping things...

Hi I thought everybody knew this, but apparently not, so I'll re-iterate. I am on an old-fashioned non-integrated e-mail program (Pine). This means that every time I get an attachment i have to go to the ftp site, ftp it across, get back into e-mail, having now typed my login name and password twice...for each attachment. For this reason, and for the reason that every time i switch screens i have to figure out how exactly to enlarge it so i can read it--please don't send attachments. also it will help greatly (since i use enlargement and therefore see very little on the screen at once) if you will minimize excess stuff, like the forwarding information, parts of my old message, etc--when you send me e-mail. the less i have to wade through to get to the good stuff, the better. this mostly applies to stuff sent to me privately, but since i did volunteer to organize filking for rusty, i thought it might be good to mention it here. thanks so much anne Received on 11/27/99 This archive was generated by hypermail 2.2.0. |
