Nominating deadline for this year's Pegasus Awards (sponsored by OVFF) has been extended to May 1, 2000 (in significant part due to a Very Small Number of ballots coming in, even via easy online nomination). One does not need to be an OVFF member to nominate.

replyAs a result, there's been a Web page established as a "brainstorming" tool for folk to consult as to possible nominees, rec.music.filk participants and some others were invited to submit "author's pick" choices as well. (Your correspondent yielded to temptation and provided a pick for which lyrics are available via the page.)

Bottom line: if you want to have an influence -- possibly a significant one -- on Pegasus nominations this year, this is your chance. I will note for the record that both Cecilia Eng and Jeff Hitchin are already represented on the brainstorming page's list of performer candidates.
