WesterCon 54

Just got back from the WesterCon meeting in Seaside. There is something that I think needs to be addressed, and the best place to start (after there) is here. :)

No one has stepped forward to take the reins on running Filking for WesterCon 54 in 2001. We're starting to decide space allocation issues, and there isn't anybody there to say, "no, we can't have filking _there_!" Not that I've heard any truly bad ideas so far, but things like Heather's traditional Sunday morning concert (which I at least would like to see at WesterCon as well) may get lost in the cracks.

I don't feel qualified to run filking at an OryCon, much less a WesterCon. Is there anybody out on the list that might be interested in at least getting some more information? Answer me here, or privately if you wish.
