replyActually, Robert Verde and I have talked about me doing it off and on for months. However, I still needed to check with John Bunnell and Anita to see if they wanted the job. (Celia had told me she didn't. I was clear to Robert that I thought the others had first dibs however, since they are Portland folk and have run it before, while I'm from Seattle. I have run filking at a lot of cons around here, including Westercon 50, and feel up to doing the job again.) Robert has also been trying to get me to take a larger role in Operations which I was still considering, but I never saw him at Norwescon to discuss matters further. It's on my list of email tasks to take care of.

Regardless of who runs it, do you guys have ideas about what you would like to see? I know there's been a lot of excitement recently about a Harmony panel for the next Orycon, and it can certainly be repeated. Westercons are usually a good chance to do Theme Circles and showcase some new faces at concerts. What else? (I have a whole list of ideas, but I always like new ones, and *which* ones are going to be the most popular are up to those of you who come and participate.)

Let me know what you think, and I'll get on the committee issue to see if any decisions can be made.
