My apologies for this looping. The Message auto-reply that John is using is slightly brain-dead in that a) it strips all the message headers (which would have prevented listar from regurgitating it if it didn't) and b) it replied to the list and didn't recognize that it'd already done so more than once.

I have set John's address 'vacation' and that should prevent the bouncing.
