I'm having a severe hardware/phone problem of some kind which is temporarily preventing my computer from accessing the 'Net. (Five hours of tech support with my ISP and one actual plus one alleged visit from US West have failed to isolate the problem.)
I'll be back online as soon as I can resolve this. Meanwhile, the best way to reach me on urgent matters is via voicephone. My apologies for the inconvenience.
