Sound Tech lessons

Have any of you ever wanted to learn how to run a sound board? Seattle Folklore Society is willing to teach people for free!

They're willing to have new people come and join their staff at local shows to watch how it is all done, and then learn how to operate the equipment themselves. I'm pretty sure they'd like folks to then volunteer to work future shows, but I'm not aware of any requirements to do so.

Our non-profit folk organization has one of the largest and most stable memberships in the country. We produce folk music concerts, dances, song circles, camps and a newsletter, the SFS Flyer. We are proud to be one of the founders of the free Northwest Folklife Festival held every year at Seattle Center. "
