reply  I'm just gonna spitball here..keeping in mind I don't really do Cons anymore..but...

  How about something where you have concert stages on opposite sides of the room? While one is playing the other could be setting up. Then the audience could just turn around in their seats for the next act. The time between sets could be real short. You'll be able to have more acts play in a shorter time..kind of like what they do on Variety shows on TV.

  The down side would probably be the electrical nightmare of rigging up for both sides of the room.

  The upside would be that the audience gets some exercise and folks who have the back row seats for one performance would get front row seats for the next one.

  Again...just spitballing...hope spitting is allowed here?
