 <coming in late, as usual>

replyThe great irony here is that I *missed* the first wave of responses to my note, as somehow I'd gotten my list status set to "Vacation". (Probably a side effect of losing e-mail access for a week, during which there was an auto-reply running on my account.)

A single circle would certainly solve a number of logistic problems, although I am not dead sure how some of the longtime filk locals would react to even a moderated-chaos format. I am tempted to wonder about running a single circle but varying format from night to night (say, Bardic Friday and some form of Chaos on Saturday). If the logistics will support it, I think someone had suggested a "one-shots" schedule item, which might be a good idea if the dominant circle format is to be Chaos.

The opposite-stage concert setup is an interesting idea; the questions would be where to put it and how much need there'd be. The geography of the Klamath room doesn't really support it, and it would involve significant tech/setup issues for the Wilson/Santiam/whatever (I always forget the name of the third room in that row) lineup. It's worth thinking about, but it may be tricky to implement and I don't yet know if it would be necessary for the probable lineup. (I *have* gotten various e-mails, and am juggling same....)

Keep brainstorming, definitely -- I can use all the help I can get! <g>
