replyOK, all you polite Unitarians who are going to be at the choir retreat the weekend of August 26th, you don't have to reply to this message--we know you'll be having the time of your lives in Coos county. Just, please, sing a round or two of the Pagan "Lord of the Dance" (substituting "love" for "lord", naturally) softly enough so that the basses can be heard without Dave or myself. :-)

For any other UUs who find themselves still in Eugene that weekend, and for all the rest of you SCA bards, heathens, filkers, coffeehouse entertainers and utter strangers puzzling over how you got on our list...

Our next housefilk will be Saturday, August 26th, from 7pm until everyone  either leaves or falls asleep. Bardic or moderated chaos, depending on  turnout and preferences.

HOW TO GET TO OUR NEW HOUSE: From I-5, take the LCC/30th Avenue exit just   south of Springfield, (exit 189) and head West, into Eugene. Turn right onto Hillyard Street at the first major intersection, which has an Albertson's on the left. From here the cross streets are numbered.  Turn left onto 18th Street, and go straight for about four miles. Eventually,  there will be a slightly winding section of road, on which you will pass  Hawkins Lane on the left, the Living Hope church on the right, and then Oakpatch on the right. Stay on 18th. Immediately after the winding section, the road straightens out again, and you will see one lone traffic light in the middle of a long stretch. Turn left at that traffic light, onto Brittany.

On Brittany, go over four speed bumps, and then immediately turn right  onto Kevington. Take the second left, onto Blackburn. 2281 Blackburn will  be on the left. It is a large tan house with a prominent second floor  balcony, and driveways on both sides, either of which is ok for you to  park in. (yes, you can park in the street if the driveways are full)

Call us at 485-2943 for more information.

We have several fuzzy four-foots. The house is not childproof, but smalls  are welcome on good behavior. No smoking. Fresh bread usually provided.  Bad puns incorriged. And, oh yes, have fun.

 Best,
