Hi, Andrew;

I appreciate your two cents. Since I am most interested (and, I think, most experienced at teaching this sort of thing) I have become the harmony autocrat. :) This will allow me to do this with the small amount of time at my disposal.

If the panelists harmonize, I'll probably ask that we ust the "Star Pilots' Hymn for two reasons:

  1. I own the copyright, so can send it out to panel participants as an MP3 on a guilt-free basis
  2. It has three nice parts that aren't too picky about voice range
  3. A lot of people know it.

As for the audience participation, my inclination (as I've said before) is to start with rounds. I will probably use tapes or CD's for demonstrating harmony, thus saving the need for the panelists to rehearse.

The Lion Sleeps Tonight is a good suggestion, however, and I will take it under advisement.

Thanks,

Aislinn
