Baby News...

OK, it's not a filk, or about filking... just cope.

Labor was short but intense.. God and Goddess must have been looking out for us, because I made every single light between our house and the birth center. Labor that had been poking along went into overdrive without much warning, so suddenly we were in a rush to get to the center, and by a minor miracle the few folks we had invited to the birth all managed to make it.. We showed up at the birth center and Maura was nearly fully dialated and at 'station plus 3' (meaning the baby's head was nearly into the birth canal). Into the tub, and a little over an hour and a half later, he was resting on mom's chest and I was cutting his cord.
Mom and Morgan are doing well, and Dad is still in shock that his little boy, (that he can hold in his arms), actually fit INSIDE his wife.. (he seems so big!)
