Does it count that I was thumping the 'baladi' beat (doom-doom, tek-ca-tek, doom, tek-ca-tek-tek-ca.. repeat) on my sternum when he was resting on my chest the other day... Also been sort of chanting it at him when bouncing him on the birth ball.. (works great, just bounce the 4/4 beat on the ball while chanting the rhythm...)

He loves being bounced..didn't use the ball at the birth (everything went so quick) but holding him, sitting on it and bouncing is turning into a great way to calm him down when nothing else works.
