He will also be coming back in July to do music workshops. Here are the details from his mailing list:

  1. Week #1 of the Puget Sound Guitar Workshops...July 21-27 ... a legendary musical community/camp held in the magnificent Pacific Northwest ... I'll be a vocal and songwriting instructor amid many kinds of music classes, and inquiries may be directed to www.psgw.org ~ 360-647-2979.
  2. If you're a singer of any kind (in fact, no experience preferred, all levels welcomed) "Singing for Shy People" beckons. I've done this for many seasons at NY's Omega Institute, and this year our vocal community will convene at the Pendle Hill Center outside of Philadelphia. The sacred-to-sometimes-silly song circle will sing, laugh, regale, regain permission, witness great beauty, give supportive feedback, and breathe deeply together. August 1-5...www.pendlehill.org ~ 610-566-4507.
  3. More? How about a full week of songWRITING at the beautiful Ashokan Field Camp near Woodstock, NY? Join the 3rd annual SUMMERSONGS (August 5-12) and study the art of songwriting, performance, vocalization, collaboration, guitar, piano, even marketing with people like Bob Franke, Sloan Wainwright, Nashville's Jason Blume (hitmaker for the likes of Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys), Artie Traum, Grammy nominee Vinnie Martucci, Tom Prasado Rao, and yours truly... www.summersongs.com ~ 845-246-0223
