Casey Neill Trio June 22 & 23

I promised the guys that I would try to drum up some attendance for their June concerts at Conor Byrne's, especially since I am doing SCA the weekends they are playing. One has already passed, but the other has come up on June 22nd & 23rd. Conor's is located at 5140 Ballard Ave NW in Seattle 206-784-3640. It's a great pub with a very friendly atmosphere. As for the band, they are in the Celtic - Bluegrass folk genre, and the songs have a fair number of social and environmental themes. Casey is a truly talented songwriter, and Zak Borden and Hanz Araki bring a lot of instrumental skills and good backup vocals (sometimes lead as well) to the group. They are one of my favorite bands at this point in time. Please go check them out.
