Westercon Music Schedule

For all of you who want to know when something else is happening, I would suggest you go and check the website yourself because the entire thing is too big to send out here. It is listed both chronologically and by speaker, so hopefully you can find what you need fairly easily. http://www.osfci.org/w2001/

I wish I could say that I should take the credit or the blame for any conflicts, bad ideas, left out items, great successes, or general confusion; but the reality is that I've had very little to do with it. I've been the one trying to keep you informed, and I have relayed your wishes up the chain, but the actual decision making and scheduling has been handled by other parties (primarily Cecelia Eng and Andrew Nesbitt) who were closer in space and time to those in charge of the grid, the rooms, the budget, and the publications. My impression is that due to the 90 minute block format and the fact that we have 2 rooms each evening, we still have plenty of space to play with, and so a few other things may be added onsite. (Keep your ears and eyes open for announcements, flyers, and the Daily Zine.) Unfortunately, there's really nothing to be done about the couple of conflicts that remain, such as on Friday afternoon.

The Portland Crew has a tradition of doing enjoyable, thought provoking paneling, so there should be plenty of other things for you to sit in on in addition to the music items. Thank you for all of your patience. I look forward to seeing you on site.
