Lyric nit, though, the original is actually: "The killers would see, did they pause and look back..."

I only hope that the last lines of that verse will be as true for this atrocity, as they were for Okla City:

"Hard though they run, they will find in the end,  Hell cannot hide them, nor heaven defend."
