[filk] report on Andy Stewart/Gerry O'Beirn concert on Sunday

Had a wonderful time with my fiancee and a good friend at the concert.

Andy was in fine form. Gerry had was just getting over a bout of the flu or somesuch so he had a talking voice, but not a singing voice. It didn't matter much--he made a six string guitar sound like three. At the end he performed a favorite of his on his 12 string and all I can say is 'wow'

I'd heard folks say that Andy was extremely funny. He is (he admitted that to sing a proper, depressing Celtic or Scottish song he had to 'psyche down' for a couple of hours before the concert).

I can't wait for his next tour through the area!
