Acoustics are fine, and hospitality quite warm. Carpooling might solve or alleviate some of the transit problem, along with arranging shuttling to the nearest transit point.
I've even hosted a few at my house in SE Portland - reasonable amount of people space, but extremely limited parking - and might consider doing so again. But *not* until the end of January at the *earliest*, given other commitments.
