[filk] A Bit of Good News and Thanks To Everyone For Your Support

Greetings All,

Great News!!!!! I just returned from a job interview and and the boss told me *Unless you hear otherwise, we will expect you Monday*

I apologize to those I haven't responded to privately yet<I will>, but I am buried in trying to get things sorted out and this seemed to be the best way to notify everyone of everything. <sigh>

The doctor I am seeing has my meds covered for a few weeks, so that cost is not a problem any longer, thankfully.<meds run me about $100 per month> We also avoided a wage garnishment on Larry's income thankfully. We missed responding to the court summons due to my father's death. But we have worked out monthly payments on a Promisary Note. We also got a referral to a Law Advocates office and are hoping they can help on the house issue. I should be hearing from them within a couple of days.

This is what we are still facing financially :

Electric : $222.81 due in full by June 18th Mortgage: <at $585.00 month, Plus $50.00 if not paid by the second of each month> We presently will owe as of June 1st:
May : $ 235.00
June: $ 585.00
Homeowners and Car Insurance:
May 22nd: $ 98.00
Unknown Date: Though very soon I fear
Euthanasia of Precious: $48.00
<For those who don't know about Precious, she is our 1 y/o furbaby cat, that has FIP and is dying>

These are just the *Critical* bills, the ones we have to get paid ASAP

Larry will be getting paid May 31st. We have a *PayDay Loan* coming out of that for $575.00 <most of his check> This means we either have to get another PayDay Loan, or we won't even come close to making the June payment. Taking the loan out was the only way to try to catch up on April and May, or we wouldn't have done it. So, while I may have gotten a job, we are not out of the woods yet. I am not certain when my first payday will be, other than not quite soon enough. But our recovery hopefully will be quicker. <fingers crossed>

Our income, btwn now and then will be a total of about $800.00 short of being able to pay the bills, as of June 1st. That does not include any money for _Anything Else_, just the bills mentioned above.

We also have other bills which are important but not essential right now. Food we are ok on but, gas, critter food and sundries are not included in the figure above at all. Just so everyone knows, we have enough food for about 3 weeks, other than milk, which shouldn't be a problem. We also have enough small propane bottles for about 5 days worth of cooking and heating, should the power end up being shut off.

Several folks have offered help <HUGS and Many THANKS> We do appreciate it more than I could ever express in words. I am extremely grateful to <and humbled by> your for your offers The only thing I must warn is I am not certain how quickly we would be able to pay any money back to you. We will do our best to see any monies loaned, repaid as soon as possible, you have my word on that.

Our heartfelt thanks to all, for all of your efforts in support of us. We seem to be having a bad run of luck these last few months...maybe now it is the time of transistion into better times.

Blessings,
Rhainy, Larry and Devon Received on 05/22/02
