The weekend after Westercon, The Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater will be presenting a production of "The Wizard of Oz" that will run for six weeks (July 12 - August 17). Shows are Saturdays at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $16. To reserve tickets, either call 425-222-7044 or send e-mail to rainbowmaker at earthlink.net. There is also an optional dinner before the show of either grilled steak or salmon for an additional cost. The theater's website is http://www.foresttheater.org, which contains the full schedule of the run. The show features Cele Wolman as Dorothy, Timothy Glynn as the Scarecrow, Danny Miller as the Tinman and yours truly, Jeffrey Hitchin, as the Cowardly Lion. One caveat. This is an outdoor theater, so we're weather dependent. If the weather is bad, we could conceivably cancel the show. So, come see the show. It's the mane event, sure to give you paws.
