Eli Goldberg suggested that I contact you about crash space. I'm visiting Portland the first full week of July.

Here's the precis: 40, gay, male, editor, cook, aikidoka, musician, tech geek --- singer, sax, flute, recorders, lapsed filker. (Truth in advertising: my fingers remember the flute, but my chops are nonexistent at the moment.)

Mew, Joey Shoji, and Kathy Mar can comment on my house-guest skills.

Accommodations aside, what are some cool things to see and do in and around Portland? When I'm exploring a new city, I like to walk and bicycle through neighborhoods.
